Nespelem Representative and Chairman of the Colville Business Council, Jarred-Michael Erickson, is serving his third term on the CBC after being Reelected in July of 2023. Before becoming a CBC member, Jarred-Michael worked as a Wildlife Biologist for the Colville Confederated Tribes Fish & Wildlife Department. During his time with CCT Fish & Wildlife, he was a part of the reintroduction projects of bringing Pronghorn and Lynx back to the Colville Reservation. He attended Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College, and Eastern Washington University where he earned his B.S. in Biology. Jarred-Michael wanted to be on the Colville Business Council because he “wanted to make a meaningful change for our tribe and our people”. Outside of working, Jarred-Michael is an avid hunter and loves being outdoors.
